iPhone as a MIDI controller. My video demo

There's some really cool applications available for the iPhone. One that sparked my interest was iTouch Midi - an application that allows the iPhone to act as a MIDI controller.

I decided to see whether I could use the iPhone to DJ with Ableton Live.

It uses the new iTouch midi app as well as Bome's Midi Translator.

The Mini Maven...

OK... well not quite.... it's my new Live DJ set up. It's a modified CD case that holds my midi controllers and has an integrated laptop stand.



It's ultra portable.
- Packed : A bit bigger than a record and 10cm high
- Set-up: About the same size as a Technics turntable (turned sideways)
- All cables are contained within
